Filtering Out Thoughts
One of my earlier bosses told me to "filter out my thoughts", after I had sent him a very long text, observing an issue I noticed in our day-to-day, in an Asana comment. He said it's not fair to the reader to post such long-winded comments, so I should contain my stream of thoughts, as to achieve a more efficient result in reaching him. To anyone visiting my website, I say - rejoice! I've opted to switch from Google Analytics to Goatcounter. It's a privacy-oriented, open-source project meant to inform me of visits and views of different pages. Taking a step in this direction gives me more confidence in removing the absolute need for Google products, even though I'm deeply invested in their ecosystem.
